10 things I'm most excited to do when this is all over!

Here in Wales we're still in lockdown and just allowed out for exercise and essential shops but instead of focusing on the things I can't change I thought I'd put together a little bucket list style post of things I'm excited to do when all of this is over as something to look forward to! Obviously some things most likely won't be able to happen for a very long time but it's something to have as a goal and get excited
for in the future!

1) See family & friends!

First things first, most importantly I can't wait to be reunited with my family and friends! I haven't seen my older sisters and niece and nephew since the beginning of March, so I'm desperate to finally see them all again in person, video calls just aren't the same are they? Hopefully this measure will be eased the soonest, even it it's just a catch up from a distance or in the garden. Fingers crossed!

2) Be able to enjoy more walks in Wales

Living in Wales I'm so lucky to be very close to some amazing walks and National Trust locations, that I can't wait to get out and explore again properly and have some day trips away to! I think it was definitely one thing I took for granted before lockdown so I'll for sure be appreciating living here even more and spending lots more time outdoors when those restrictions are lifted.

3) Go on a Center Parcs break!

Just over a year ago we had a week away in Center Parcs and I absolutely loved it, it's one of my favourite places in the UK for a break away and is so peaceful and secluded! I think it will be a while before we feel comfortable flying for a holiday even when those restrictions are lifted, so fingers crossed a break away here will be on the cards instead.. I'm already dreaming about the delicious pancakes from their amazing Pancake House onsite!

4) Go out for Sushi!

I can't even explain how much I miss my monthly trips to Yo Sushi, Japanese food is my favourite kind so I can't wait to finally be able to enjoy Ramen and freshly made sushi rolls again.. nothing quite beats it from a supermarket does it? I think the first bill back there is definitely going to be a big one as the withdrawels are real!

5) Go Shopping!

Next up, shopping! Another thing I've massively missed is my weekly shopping trips to Chester with my Mum checking out what's new in all my favourite shops and having a good browse. I especially can't wait to finally be able to step back into Lush and smell all of those amazing bath treats again! I think this could definitely be a dangerous one for my bank account though after not seeing a shop in months, eek!

6) See a new release at the cinema

This one's probably going to take a long time to happen due to social distancing but I'm so excited to visit the cinema and see a new Disney release again. I do love watching movies at home but nothing beats seeing a new release for the first time on the big screen does it? Not forgetting all those amazing overpriced Cinema snacks, I don't think there's a week that goes by where I don't crave a Tango Ice Blast!

7) Go out to a coffee shop!

Another food treat I'm missing is proper coffee shop cake and an Iced Tea! I can't wait to be back in my favourite one people watching and enjoying all the tasty bakes, nothing beats proper coffee shop cake does it? This Red Velvet cake below is calling me in particular, especially after recently flicking through my pre-lockdown Instagram feed!

8) Have a picnic!

Another food related thing.. surprise surprise! I'd love to be able to drive somewhere nice with a picnic filled with tasty nibbles and cakes and just enjoy the sunshine! It's been so long that I've been out for anything other than exercise so it will be amazing to finally just be able to sit and enjoy the views without rushing to get home. I'm hoping this will be one that can happen pretty soon before this gorgeous weather goes away!

9) Visit Chester Zoo

Next up, another day trip I'm excited for is Chester Zoo! It's always been one of my favourite local places to visit and I can't wait to be able to admire all of their beautiful animals again and support them.

Oh and Disney fans.. they also sell Dole Whip there too, just like in the parks. So you can bet I'll definitely be having a few of those as I need my Dole Whip fix badly!

10) Book a Disney trip

Lastly and the thing you're probably all expecting, I'd loveeee to be able to finally book another Disney trip! We were hoping to book for 2021 but as it's such an expensive holiday and obviously for safety reasons we want to make sure everything's safe and completely back to normal (or as much as possible) first! I can't wait to be back walking down Mainstreet USA again and seeing the castle for the first time, nothing beats that feeling!

..and that's it! I hope you enjoying hearing about some of the things I'm most excited to do when this is all over. Things are improving more and more everyday so fingers crossed it's not to long for us all now and we can have a bit of normality back in our lives slowly!

Let me know in the comments what you're most excited to do when everything goes back to normality?
