Mad Beauty Evil Queen Cauldron Bath Fizzer Review

I'm back with another bath bomb review! This time I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on the Evil Queen Cauldron bath fizzer from Mad Beauty who are one of my favourite brands when it comes to finding bath products & Disney combined.. aka my dream combination! I mean who doesn't want a Disney themed bath bomb for a pamper night?

The packaging & design

Firstly let's start with talking about the packaging and design. It's definitely one of the coolest looking bath bombs I've ever seen before, with such a fun and unique design, perfect for us Disney Villain fans, old and young! It's unlike anything else I've seen on the market before which I love, so yay to Mad Beauty for creating something new and different as appose to the same old bath bomb styles. My only complaint is that I do wish it had less plastic around the cauldron as I'm really trying to cut down on my single use plastic right now. The cauldron itself is plastic too but I definitely wouldn't be throwing that one away anyway and have already reused it a few times with bath dust I already own and it works just as great!

The Fragrance

The bath bomb is Poison Apple scented and has a really nice sweet apple blend, it's quite subtle and not too overpowering but still fills the air nicely when the fizzer is bubbling away. I'm a huge fan of fruity scents and this one was definitely a winner for me, it's not as complex as some bath bomb blends I've had in the past and is pretty simple but I actually really like that with this particular scent.

How was the fizzer in action?

Now let's move on to the fizzer in action! I was reallyyyy hoping this bath bomb was going to be as good as it looked as I've had so many disappointing bath bombs recently but thankfully it was everything I hoped and more and definitely didn't disappoint me! It's a slow releasing fizzer and lasted around 10 minutes from start to finish, releasing streams of gorgeous white and greens which complimented eachother perfectly colour wise. It looked like something straight out of the Evil Queen potion making scene in Snow White with the spooky green colour bubbling out of the cauldron.. just amazing! After the fizzer was all dissolved my bath was left a lovely bright green colour which finished it off perfectly and would definitely be the Evil Queens dream bath colour!

So overall performance wise I really have no complaints at all and loved that it was a slow Fizzer and not a bath bomb that's over and done with in a few seconds. I think it's such an amazing and unique concept for a bath product and is like nothing I've seen on the market before. They've absolutely nailed it in my opinion and it definitely gets my approval!

Worth the price?

The price varies from site to site but stays around the £5-£6 mark, so it is on the pricier side for a single use bath product however it really is unlike anything I've seen before and really did impress me in everyway. I think it would definitely make the perfect gift for a Disney fan, especially someone who loves their villains and would be a great idea for a stocking filler or secret santa gift come Christmas time as it's the perfect size and price for that!
