Christmas Gift Guide: Beauty & Skincare

It's gift guide time again! This time it's all about the beauty and skincare gifts with everything from eyeshadow palettes to pamper boxes. Beauty gifts can be so hard to buy for sometimes as everyone has their own preferences when it comes to makeup and shades, so I've tried to keep this one neutral with pieces I think anyone would love this Christmas!

Fragrance Direct Date Night Beauty Box

One brand with some amazing gifting options this year are Fragrance Direct, besides their huge range of fragrances they also have a really big range of beauty gifts too including some great value beauty boxes. This one is their Date Night box and is filled with so many beauty goodies including:

• Technic Enticing Eyeshadow Palette
• Maxfactor 2000 Calorie Mascara
• Revlon Colourstay Skinny Liquid Eyeliner
• Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick
• Ardell Natural Lashes
• Marco Highlighting Palette
• Bronzing Pearls from Royal Cosmetic Connections

So you get a huge range of products included for the price with a value of £71.45 which I think is incredible! It would definitely make a great gift for any makeup lovers this Christmas and is such a great way to try out lots of different products and brands in one go. I'm especially loving the two palettes included which are both from two completely new brands to me but I've been so impressed with the quality and have been reaching for them both so much since the box has arrived!

Price: £27.99

Fragrance Direct Autumn Essentials Box

Another beauty box from Fragrance Direct that I think would be perfect for gifting is their Autumn Essentials Box which is packed with lots of pamper and skincare goodies including:

• An Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream lip protectant⁣
• A Peach Bellini scented candle⁣
• A Dermalogica Biolumin C Serum (3ml)⁣
• An Elemis Superfood Berry Boost mask (75ml)⁣
• A Kneipp Mineral Balancing Lavendar bath salts⁣
• A Gatineau Plumping 14-Day Trial Set
• The Organic Pharmacy Detox Body Oil (20ml)⁣

So this is definitely a great one for gifting to someone who deserves a good pamper this Christmas and a great option for Mums and Aunties too as there's some really good anti-ageing products inside! We're getting amazing value for money again too as the products inside have a value of £87.10, meaning you're saving over £47 pounds compared to if you were to buy the products individually which I think is such a great steal!

Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette

I couldn't create a beauty gift guide without including a palette and this year one I think would be perfect for gifting is the Urban Decay Naked Honey palette, which was a new release this year and is available to buy online at Escentual. Sometimes palettes can be a risky option as everyone has their own preferences when it comes to shades but I think this one's such a great option, filled with gorgeous golden neutrals and warm-toned shadows. Perfect for both everyday looks with the neutral mattes and night-time party looks with those stunning shimmers! The palette also comes with a dual-ended brush too, meaning it has everything you need for eyeshadow on the go!

Price: £42

Bioderma Beauty Essentials Set

Another great gift idea available on Escentual is the Beauty Essentials Set from the brand Bioderma which is packed with lots of great skincare products including:

• A Sensibio H20 Micelle Solution Cleanser (250ml)
• A Atoderm Ultra-gentle Shower Gel (100ml)
• A Hydrabio Rich Moisturising Cream (50ml)
• A Bioderma Cotton Pouch

So you get such a good mix of products packed into this one! The miceller Cleanser from Bioderma is actually one of my favourites, it has such a gentle formula that doesn't feel harsh at all on the skin and removes makeup so effortlessly, so I'm sure any makeup wearers would definitely be appreciative of this one!  I also love the little addition of the cotton pads and pouch which would be so perfect for travelling and on-the-go!

Price: £22.50

Kat Von D 'Kitten Eyes' Eye Set

Another great beauty gift idea is this adorable 'Kitten Eyes' set from Kat Von D who are a brand that always seem to nail it when it comes to their eye products especially their eyeliners! This set includes two generous sized minis including:

• A Cake Eyeliner Pencil
• A Go Big Or Go Home Mascara

So you get everything you need here for those pretty cat eye looks! Perfect for both everyday looks and more glam looks too when you build up the intensity. Besides the products how adorable is the sleek black cat shaped box? I think it's so unique compared to a lot of other beauty gift sets on the market this Christmas!

Soap & Glory A Beauty-full House set

Lastly one brand we can always rely on when it comes to beauty gifts are Soap & Glory! This year they haven't disappointed either and have a HUGE range of gifts available. My favourite though has to be the 'A Beauty-full House' set which is packed full of lots of Soap & Glory's star makeup products including:

• A 'Thick & Fast' Mascara
•  A 'Supercat' Liquid Eyeliner
•  A 'Love At First Blush' Rosy-Radiance Shimmer Powder
• A Brow Archery Crayon
• A Sexy Mother Pucker Lipgloss in 'Bare Enough'
• A 'One Heck Of A Blot' Primer

So you get so many staples in this one! I think it would especially be great for a teen just starting to get into makeup as this kit is such a great introduction to the brand and includes lots of the essentials. We're getting amazing value for money with this one too as the whole bundle is worth £58 meaning you're saving over £40 which I think is pretty impressive. It's beautifully packaged too in that famous pretty pink Soap and Glory style!

Price: £25 (Currently reduced to £15)

..and that's it! hope you enjoyed hearing about some of my favourite beauty gift ideas available this year, hopefully it's given you lots of inspiration with Christmas just around the corner. I have one more gift guides to come over the next few days, so stay tuned for that if you're still looking for ideas this year!

  1. The Urban Decay palette looks gorgeous! Love the idea of having a seasonal box with all the makeup bits that have shades fitting with the season!

  2. Christmas is a time of giving. This is the time when we exchange gifts with one another as we remember Christ's act of giving His own life so we can live.
