Look Fantastic November Box: The Hygge Edition

It's time for another monthly box review! This time I'm going to be sharing what's inside the November Look Fantastic box and also letting you know my first impressions on a few of the products inside too. This month's box is The Hygge Edition and is all about pamper and self care which is something I think we definitely all need to do more, so I was very happy to see that as the theme for this month!

{ This post includes pr samples }

About Look Fantastic Beauty Boxes

The Look Fantastic Beauty Box is a monthly subscription service and each box is filled with 6 beauty products worth atleast £50 and the latest edition of Elle UK Magazine too (worth £4.50). So with this box you are guaranteed to receive atleast triple in value of products each month compared to the actual box price, which I think is pretty amazing! The boxes are priced between £13 to £15 depending on the length of subscription you buy from them, with free delivery included in that price too!

November Elle Magazine

First up we are getting a copy of the November Elle UK Magazine, which is something they include in all of their monthly boxes. I think it's such a nice extra to include in them as I love flicking through Elle and reading about the latest beauty and fashion trends, the images inside are also great inspiration for my blog and Instagram photos! They're quite a pricey magazine brand too at £4.50 an issue, so it's amazing that they're included in every box!

Product Value: £4.50

This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray

First up product wise this month we have one of the Deep Sleep Pillow Sprays from This Works which is a product I already absolutely love, so I'm very happy to have a back up! I find a few sprays of this on my pillow before bed helps to make me feel so much more relaxed and calm, ready for a good night's sleep. It's infused with a superblend of Lavender, Vetivert and Chamomile which create such a lovely relaxing scent, perfect for de-stressing. I can't rave about this stuff enough, so if you have trouble sleeping I definitely recommend trying a sample!

Product Value: £8

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Oil

Also in the box we're getting a Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Oil which is another product I already know and love! It's a really great multi-purpose product and can be used on the face, body and even hair. I particularly love using this one on the body though and find it adds such a gorgeous glow to the skin, it also smells incredible too, like summer in a jar! So I'm very happy to be stocked up with another as you can never have too many of these, especially when they can be used in all those different ways.

Product Value: £4.50

ESPA Smooth & Firm Body Butter

Next up in the box we are getting the Smooth and Firm Body Butter from the brand ESPA who are a brand I've yet to try but have always heard really good things about so I was very excited to see something included in this month's edit. I haven't had chance to try this one yet as I already have a few body butters on-the-go at the moment but it sounds like it's going to be a great one for helping to smooth the skin and is enriched with Larch, Pumpkin Seed extract, Vitamin E and Argan Oil.. so there are lots of good ingredients packed inside!

Product Value: £8.33

So Eco Konjac Sponge

Also in the box we are getting a Konjac Sponge from the brand So Eco which is the product I was most intrigued to try. The sponge is made from vegetable fibres of the Konjac plant and is 100% biodegradable, meaning it's way better for the environment, yay! I've been using this every morning since the box has arrived and it honestly leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth and also pretty glowy too which I was so surprised to see as I've been using this with just water and no cleanser to see what the sponge is like alone. It's such a gentle product too so it's definitely a great cleansing option for anyone with sensitive skin, I can't believe it's took me so long to finally try one!

Product Value: £7

Dr Botanicals Hemp Infused Moisturiser

Next up in the box we're getting a Hemp Infused Moisturizer from the brand Dr Botanicals which I was very pleased to see in the box as I've heard so many fellow bloggers raving about the brand this year. This one's packed with Hemp Seed Oil and Cocoa Butter and aims to protect, nourish and hydrate the skin to reveal a softer and healthier-looking complexion. Hemp Seed Oil contains all of the 21 amino acids and is known as ‘nature’s most perfectly balanced oil’, so I was very intrigued to try it out on my skin!

I've been using this for around a 10 days now so can only give my first impressions but so far I'm really liking it. It's quite a light cream and soaks up into the skin really quickly, making it a great morning moisturizer before makeup application leaving my skin feeling soft and primed. It also leaves my skin with that glow from within look which is something I love in a moisturizer! The main thing I've noticed so far is that it's really helped out with the dryness I can get around my nose area during the colder months and has really made a noticeable difference to the texture there which I think is pretty amazing for just over a week of using the product!

The only thing that might put some people off with this one is that it does have quite a strong herbal like scent but I personally don't mind it and actually quite like the scent.  So overall, I have no complaints with this one so far on first impressions and so glad we got to discover it in this month's box. I can already tell it's going to be a product I'll be re-buying in the future!

Product Value: £12

Skimono Beauty Hand Mask

Lastly in the box this month we are getting one of the intense nourishment hand masks from the brand Skimono who are another a completely new brand to me. The mask aims to soothe and moisturise hands and is saturated in a formula rich in shea butter, aloe vera and hyaluronic acid!

Overall I really enjoyed trying them out and found the masks really easy to use. I don't have particularly dry hands myself anyway but I found this left them feeling really soft and well moisturised. My only complaint is the price, I definitely couldn't justify that amount for one mask, especially when I have a few hand creams and treatments that can be used multiple times and are cheaper that do just a good a job in my opinion! It was definitely a fun one to try though and made a great pamper night addition, fitting in perfectly with this month's box theme.

Product Value: £9.99

Worth the price?

Look Fantastic boxes range from £13 to £15 depending on the length of subscription you buy from them, with free delivery included in that price too. This month's box has a value of over £50, which is pretty impressive right? and is over 3 times the amount you are paying for the actual box, so you are definitely getting very good value for money with this one!

..and that's it! I hope you enjoyed hearing about what's inside the November Look Fantastic box and my first impressions on a few of the products. Once again I'm really impressed with this month's edit and the value for money we're getting with all of those pamper treats. My favourite pick for this month has to be the Hemp moisturizer which my skin is absolutely loving right now, so I'm very excited to continue using it!

Let me know in the comments if you've tried any boxes from Look Fantastic before and your thoughts?

  10. Kate, your photos are always so incredible. If anything, Elle magazine should be taking inspiration from you, not the other way around! I've heard so many people rave about the Look Fantastic box but I had no idea it was such good quality. A value of three times the price is really good! I love the This Works pillow spray, it makes me feel so cosy and ready for sleep. I also love konjac sponges! They really help with my dry skin. I had no idea hemp was such a useful oil but that has definitely inspired me to try more products with it in! This looks like a lovely, cosy box.
