Rediscovering an old favourite from Soap and Glory

Today on the blog I'm going to be talking about rediscovering an old favourite from Soap and Glory, their Righteous Butter! If you're into all things beauty you'll have definitely heard about this one before as it's raved about so much in the beauty world. I kindly received a tub in the post a few months ago and forgot just how amazing it was, so I thought it deserved a post of it's own!

The packaging

Packaging wise Soap and Glory are definitely my kind of brand, sticking to that gorgeous pink and girly theming! The Righteous Butter is no different and comes packaged in a pretty pink tub with the classic Soap and Glory text and images, which I love and think is something that will never go out of style. Practicality wise I've always found these tubs to wear really well too and have never had any issues them. I personally prefer it when body butters come in tubs like these as you can see exactly how much product you have left and scoop out the exact amount you want without any wasted product!

The scent

Besides the actual formula of the product I also forgot just how amazing that famous Soap and Glory scent was too! It has such a lovely blend of fragrances including:

• Bergamot
• Mandarin
• Leafy Greens
• Musk
• Oakmoss
• Amber

..which all blend together perfectly, creating a gorgeous unique fresh scent that I can't imagine anyone not loving. I've found the scent lingers really well on the skin too and can even sometimes notice it the morning after moisturizing, which I think is pretty impressive right?

The formula

Texture wise, the butter has quite a thick consistency but still feels incredibly lightweight and creamy and has an almost whipped like feel to it. It makes for the perfect after shower moisturiser and soaks into the skin like a dream, leaving it feeling soft and moisturised without leaving behind any oily or greasy residue! I've also found the butter is amazing to use after a long day in the sunshine as it feels really cooling and refreshing on the skin. It's packed with Aloe Vera and Shea Butter, making it the perfect summer pamper night or post beach essential. I really can't fault the formula and I'm so glad I've rediscovered it again!

Worth the price?

The 300ml tubs are currently £10 at boots, so I definitely think they're worth the price as you get a huge amount of product and is actually probably the biggest body butter tub I've owned before! I've been using mine nightly and it's lasted over two months now and there's even a small amount of product left. You can also get a mini 50ml version in Boots for just £3, which would definitely be the ideal size if you're looking for a moisturiser to take away with you on holiday this summer! Minis are also great for trying a product out before investing in a bigger size, so I love that they have a smaller option too.

..and that's it! I hope you enjoyed hearing my thoughts on The Righteous Butter from Soap and Glory! I absolutely love this stuff and I'm so glad I've redisovered it over the last few months. I normally always let you know a few negatives in my posts but I really can't find any with this one whatsoever, so if you're on the look out for a new body moisturiser I highly recommend giving this one a try!

Let me know in the comments if you've tried the Righteous Butter before and your thoughts?
