A new favourite from Yankee Candle: Grilled Peaches and Vanilla

If you follow me over on Instagram you'll know that I am absolutely obsessed with candles and home fragrances, particularly the ones from Yankee Candle who I've been buying from since I was a little teenager! A few months ago one of their new Grilled Peaches and Vanilla candles arrived and as soon as I opened the lid of the candle I knew it was going to become a new favourite, combining so many of my favourite scents. So, I'm very excited to share more about the new blend with you today!

The scent

Grilled Peaches and Vanilla is a release from the new Sunday Brunch collection and has a delicious blend of scents including:

Top notes: Grapefruit, Brown Sugar, Blackcurrant
Middle notes: Grilled Peaches, Ripe Apricot
Base notes: Drizzled Honey, Vanilla Cream

..which all come together so well to create such a gorgeous blend that smells good enough to eat! They seem to have got the balance of fruity and sweet scents just right with this one, without being overly sweet at all with those bursts of fresh fruity notes and the creaminess from the vanilla cream. The notes that come across the strongest to me are the peaches, apricot and vanilla scents so if you're a fan of those then you're bound to love this new scent too! It's basically all of my favourites blended into one candle, so this scent definitely gets my approval and has easily become one of my favourite scents they've released so far. It doesn't get much better than a room smelling of peaches and vanilla does it?

Scent throw wise, I've found this one has a medium to strong scent throw and fills a room nicely with that delicious blend but without becoming overpowering! It takes around 15-20 minutes to fill a room with scent after being lit and I've also found the scent lingers really well in a room hours after being burned too, which is always a great bonus!

Burn time?

Yankee Candle large jars have a burn time of between 110 and 150 hours, so you're definitely getting a lot of burn time out of this one. I've found the Yankee Candle burn times written on their website have always matched up with how long my candles have burned for, so I'm pretty confident this ones going to last between those times and more towards the 150 hours with the way it's going so far!

Worth the price?

The price varies depending on the size of candle you are buying, ranging from £1.99 for a votive candle to £23.99 for a large jar, so there's definitely something for everyone's budgets here which I love. I think it's great they have smaller sizes available as they're perfect for trying the scent out before deciding whether to purchase in a bigger size or not, which is something I do quite often with candles! At the moment the large jar is currently reduced to £16.79 on the official Yankee Candle website which I think is such a good steal for a candle this big and of course with that gorgeous blend, so if you're looking to buy one make sure to keep your eye out for any offers.

..and that's it! I hope you enjoyed hearing a little more about one of my favourite new releases from Yankee Candle. I can't get enough of this blend at the moment so I'll definitely have to check out the other scents in their Sunday Brunch collection now too, I especially love the sound of White Strawberry Bellini!
