New Beauty Casino collection from Misslyn

It's time for another beauty review! This time I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on the new Misslyn Beauty Casino collection, which is such a fun collection inspired by the dazzling Las Vegas lifestyle. I was very kindly sent a few products from the range and I'm so excited to share my thoughts on them with you!

Eye Want It! Eyeshadow palettes

First up, they've released six new eyeshadow palettes which all feature three shades. I was kindly sent their 'Leaf me alone' ( best name ever?! ) palette, which I'm really liking so far. Firstly how cute is this packaging? I love the pretty peach, pink and red design, it's my idea of packaging heaven! It's also really practical too as it's very compact, so perfect for popping in your handbag for on the go. It also has a mirror and a mini sponge applicator too, which are always a good bonus to have, especially for on the go makeup!

The palette features three shimmer shades, one Icy pearl like shade and two gorgeous greens. I wouldn't normally go for a green myself but the two in this palette look SO beautiful on the eyes, and are not too 'out there' colour wise, so perfect for everyday wear! The only thing I think is missing shade wise is a matte transition shade, but apart from that I do really like the mix of colours, and think all three shades compliment eachother so well. Formula wise, these shades apply so smoothly to the eyes and I haven't found them to have any fallout whatsoever, yay! They all have a lovely shimmery finish to them, I especially like the middle green shade which has the prettiest light golden reflects to it, that look amazing when the eyes catch the light. So I can imagine that one is definitely going to look good in the sunshine throughout the summer months!

Wear wise, the green shades easily last all day on my eyes which I was so surprised about for such an affordable palette! The pearl shade does fade a little throughout the day, but that's nothing a good primer won't fix. Overall I really do like this mini palette, it's definitely become a current favourite for me and I can't wait to keep using it!

Shade and Blend Eyeshadow Brush

Next up is their new Shade and Blend eyeshadow brush, which has super soft bristles perfect for blending. I have no complaints about this at all, it's a really good blending brush and blends out shadows so easily whilst still remaining sturdy for control too. I'm really impressed! Also, how pretty does this brush look? I'm loving the pink and silver ombre design, it's definitely one pretty looking brush. Perfect for us pink lovers!

Black Joker Mascara

Last up is their new Black Joker Mascara which has really pleasantly surprised me! It leaves my lashes looking longer and thicker without looking spidery or flaking throughout the day, yay! It can sometimes clump up slightly if I apply too much product, but that's nothing a quick brush through with a spooley won't fix and only happens if I do overapply the mascara.

It has a really intense black colour, which gives a lovely dramatic finish, perfect if you're looking for a more bold and dramatic mascara. Overall, I'm really pleased with the results it gives my lashes, and that's coming from someone who's very fussy when it comes to mascara! It definitely gets my approval, and I can now see why a lot of people are already loving this one.

..and that's it! I hope you enjoyed hearing my thoughts on some pieces from the new collection, I'm really pleasantly surprised with all three of these especially that gorgeous little eye palette! If you're interested in picking up anything from the collection it's available to buy on Beauty Bay and in selected Primark Stores too.

Let me know if you've tried anything from the new collection yet, and your thoughts?
