3 current beauty favourites

Today on the blog I'm going to be sharing a few of my current beauty favourites, it's been such a long time since I've done a post like this but I feel like I've discovered some great finds over the past few weeks and also rediscovered an older favourite too, so I'm excited to chat about them in a bit more detail with you!

First up is a gorgeous blusher from the brand Phase Zero in the shade 'Sweet peach', which is a lovely light peach shade with a matte finish. Obviously it's a powder blush, but it blends into the cheeks so smoothly without making the skin look overly powdery at all, yay! I also love how buildable their new blushes are, perfect for creating either a subtle blush or something a little more intense too, they've actually released a whole range of new blushes but this shade has to be the winner for me as I'm definitely a sucker for a pretty peach blush!

I've actually found this formula to last really well, almost all day which I think is really good for a blusher and for such an afforable price too, Phase Zero are definitely killing it with all their new releases right now! Another thing I really like about this blush is the compact packaging which comes with a mirror, it's super simple but perfect for popping in your handbag for when you're ready for a touch up. The design is super sleek and lightweight so the blush doesn't take up barely any room in my makeup bag, which is a great little bonus! I've been reaching for this one constantly over the past few weeks and I don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon, so if you're on the look out for a pretty new peach toned blush then I can't recommend this one enough.

My next favourite is one of the Juicy fruits comfort lip glazes from the Too faced Tutti Frutti collection, in the shade Grin and Bare it, wow that was a mouthful! I'm obsessed with the formula of this one, it's super glossy and shiny, a tiny bit sticky to start with but that soon goes after a while. One of my favourite things about this gloss is that it has the most gorgeous golden and pink reflects which look incredible when the lips catch the light. I am so over matte lips at the moment and much prefer a more fun glossy finish like this one. I think it adds such a healthy and glowing finish to any makeup look!

Most other lip glazes I've tried usually need a base coat but this one is definitely pigmented enough alone with it's gorgeous nude base, which compliments almost every makeup look in my opinion. It's also pretty long-lasting too, it does loose some of it's pigmentation after a meal etc but other than that I've found this one to last really well throughout the day, which I was quite suprised about for a lip glaze. Scent wise, this smells just like those scented gel pens you would get as a child, which I actually kind of weirdly love! If you're not a fan of scented products however then you don't need to worry as it's really not strongly scented at all and pretty subtle. Also aswell as the actual gloss, how beautiful is this packaging? I love the golden lid with the cute fruit illustrations, definitely my kind of style!

The last product I've been loving lately is the butter bronzer in light ( as I'm super pale! ) from Physicians Formula. I actually picked this up when I was in New York earlier in the year during the summer months, I loved it then but this past summer I barely seemed to wear any makeup. Throughout the past few weeks though I've been wearing this one constantly and can definitely see why it's so hyped about now!

The formula is a mix between a butter and a powder bronzer, which I really like. I think the buttery finish really helps to keep this one lasting all day without going patchy at all, formula wise it's by far one of the best bronzers I've ever tried! Finish wise, it's more on the matte side but it does have tiny golden reflects too which help to add a lovely subtle glow to the face, which looks especially pretty in the sunlight!

The only slight downside is that this is bulky compared to the Phase Zero blush packaging, it does contain a brush underneath the bronzer with a mirror which would be really handy for on the go but I'm not a big fan of the brush, so it just seems a waste of space to me, however this one is so longlasting that you really don't need to take it out with you anyway. Overall, I love it! Oh, and it is also tropical scented too which I really like, but it is quite strong so if you're not a fan of scented beauty products then you might want to give this one a miss. If you are though and you're ever in the states I really recommend picking one of these up to try.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about a few beauty picks I've been loving recently, I'm reaching for these three constantly at the moment so couldn't resist putting them together into a post to share with you all! I'm especially loving that gorgeous Too Faced lip glaze, I've been trying out a few other bits from their Tutti Frutti collection too, so expect a full post on that sometime in November!

Let me know in the comments what beauty products you're loving at the moment?

* This post contains some gifted items, however as always all opinions are completely my own.
