New triple baked highlighters from I Heart Revolution: Hidden, lightening and radiance

I Heart Revolution have been bringing out so many exciting products recently, and that includes three gorgeous new triple baked highlighters. You all know how much I like Makeup Revolution as a whole, so I'm very excited to share my thoughts on three of their new products with you in today's post!

Firstly, how beautiful is the packaging? If you've been reading my blog for  while you will know by now how much of a sucker I am for pretty packaging and I think these hearts look gorgeous. They are definitely very pleasing on the eyes in my opinion, so I'm sure you'll be spotting lots of photos of these three over on my Instagram in the next few weeks!

They've brought out three gorgeous new shades:

• Radiance - a peachy pink glow
• Hidden - a bronze glow
• Lightening - a soft icy white glow

I think there's actually a pretty good range of shades here considering there are only three, the lightening shade is perfect for those with pale skin like myself with its pretty white icy glow. Radiance, is still quite light but I think it would also suit tanned skin quite well too, as it has a gorgeous peachy glow to it. Then lastly Hidden, now this shade would look stunning if you have a darker skin tone with it's gorgeous gold reflects.. I am super pale myself so this one is way too dark to use as a highlighter on myself but I've been using this as an eyeshadow as it's way too pretty to waste!

I think my favourite shade out of the three is the 'Radiance' shade, I don't think I've ever tried a highlighter in this kind of colour before but it's definitely become one of my go to shades. When I first swatched this one I wasn't overly blown away, but on the face it really does look amazing, it adds a gorgeous healthy peachy glow to the skin, which looks even better when the light catches it with it's gold and pink reflects.. this one is definitely the ideal summer shade and I'm very excited to keep wearing it.

All three of the shades really are packed with pigment when applied to the face, with one application you can create a really nice almost subtle glow, however when you build these up they become alot more intense.. which is perfect if you love a blinding highlight, I mean who doesn't?
I wasn't overly blown away pigmentation wise when I first swatched the two lightest shades with my fingers, but once applied to the face with a dense highlighter brush these shades really are packed with so much pigment. So, if you're a fan of some intense hightlight I think you'll really like all three of these!

Formula wise I've found the 'Hidden' and 'Radiance' shades apply really smoothly with no fall out at all, they are quite buttery too for a highlighter which I really like. The 'lightening' shade is a little different, the powder feels a little chunky when swatched and it also has quite a bit of fall out too, but as it's such a light shade it's easily wiped away with a powder brush! Besides that, once the 'Lightening' shade is on it really is stunning, apart from the fallout it applies to the skin so well and leaves it looking amazing with it's gorgeous soft icy white glow!

All three of these are definitely more of a shimmery based highlight compared too some of the more subtle highlighters out there, but the glitter does look gorgeous when it catches the light! The 'Hidden' shade is a little less glittery, compared to the lightest two, but it still gives a beautiful glow to the skin.

I've been really impressed with how longwearing these are, I've been applying around two coats with most of the shades and that seems to last me a good 5-7 hours without a setting spray before it starts to fade into a more natural glow, which still looks very pretty! Highlighters are always the product that seem to fade first on my face, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how long lasting all three of these were for such an afforable price.

The 'Hidden' shade however is even better as it just doesn't seem to budge, I've been testing this one out on my eyes as an eyeshadow as it's too dark for my face as a highlight, and it stays put on my eyes all day! If you have darker skin then I couldn't recommend this one enough, as this one is definitely not budging until it's cleansed away with a makeup remover, which I think is pretty impressive indeed!

Each individual heart costs £6, which for the amount of product you're getting is definitely not a bad price in my opinion, as I'm sure these will be lasting me a long time. I have a few other of the heart products from I Heart Revolution, which I've had for a good few years and still not hit pan on any of them.. so you definitely get your moneys worth with that aspect.

I think these highlighters are honestly gorgeous, and I think for just £6 they are a great bargain. I think these are definitely going to be a popular release, and I hope they bring out even more shades soon as the formula and finish of all of these really is lovely!

I hope you enjoyed hearing my thoughts on the new I Heart Revolution highlighters, I really do love these.. especially the radiance shade, so I definitely recommend giving these a swatch next time you're shopping in Superdrug! Let me know if you've tried any of the new highlighters yet, and your thoughts?

* This post contains some PR samples, however as always all opinions are my own.
