New summer scents from Kiss Air Candles

Today on the blog I'm going to be talking about the new summer scents from Kiss Air Candles. You'll all know by now how much I like this candle company and they've released three gorgeous new scents for summer, there's not one I dislike so I'm very excited to share my thoughts on them with you!

Kiss Air Candles is a small business run by two sisters Laura and Louise, who are based in Cambridgeshire in the UK. All of their candles are handmade in Cambridgeshire along with a range of other items too including tea lights, reed diffusers and wax melts! They make all their candles in small batches using natural soyabean (vegetable) wax, cotton wicks and the finest fragrances that are vegan friendly as well as paraben and phthalate free.. so you'll know only only the good ingredients go into these candles!

The first scent is Watermelon, which is a fruity blend of watermelon, lemon and casaba melon.. and the overall scent is gorgeous! This one is definitely the perfect summer scent as it's so refreshing and fruity, the blend of watermelon and lemon reminds me of one of my favourite summer drinks watermelon lemonade.. so this scent definitely smells good enough to eat, or drink in this case! This candle is also a very close dupe to the Watermelon Lemonade candle by Bath and Body works in my opinion, but I would say this one has a stronger watermelon scent whereas the BBW candle is alot more lemon based, so the Kiss Air candle is perfect if you're a big fan of watermelon scents like me.

I would say the scent throw of this one is medium to strong without being overpowering, the scent easily fills a room with the fresh, sweet watermelon like scent. So, if you're a fan of your fruity scents then I can guarantee you'll love this one too, and I'm sure this is going to be a very popular scent for Kiss Air Candles this summer.

Next up is their Vitamin Sea scent, Firstly I love the name! This scent is a fresh marine fragrance with notes of sea salt, seaweed and green algae, and also scents of coastal breeze and waterlily. The blend of this one will definitely remind you of holidays by the sea, for me the sea salt comes across as the strongest scent along with the algae and seaweed.. it's such a fresh blend, and this one actually reminds me of the big blue bath bomb from Lush, which is another product I really love!

Just like the watermelon candle the scent throw of this one comes across really well, it's definitely more of a medium to strong scent throw even in bigger rooms. I think this one would be ideal for any room in the house, and I also think this scent would be perfect for freshening up a bathroom too! The scent is making me so excited for my summer holiday this year, as this candle is definitely one that will remind you of being by the sea and beach holidays.

The last new scent and my favourite of the three is Faraway Shores which is a tropical scent, it has a coconut base with notes of lemon, mandarin and pineapple.. and also hints of warm amber and vanilla too. The blend of this one is honestly stunning, the coconut, lemon and pineapple come across as the strongest to me, with the other scents acting as more of a background scent. So, if you're a fan of those three scents I think you'll really like this one. I love candles and fragrances that are coconut and pineapple based, I think the scents pair so well together.. especially amongst the other notes in the candle too, It's definitely one of those scents that just seems to keep on giving as this one has so many layers, just like the 'Vitamin Sea' candle.

It's such a unique blend, like nothing I've tried before candle wise but it's definitely become one of my new favourites. One of the best things about this candle besides the scent is the scent throw, this one is so strong, even in larger rooms this one fills the room with the gorgeous tropical scent so well. Another thing I really like about this one is that the morning after burning the scent still lingers in the room, which is a great little bonus. So, this one gets a huge thumbs up from me, and I'll be very sad when this one runs out!

All of these candles are on sale for £9, which I think is a pretty good price especially considering their jar candles this size have a burn time of up to 35 hours, which is a really decent burn time for a candle this size! One of my favourite things about the Kiss Air Candle jars is that the wax inside burns so evenly when lit, which means none of the wax is wasted - so you also get your money's worth on that perspective too, which is great!

These are easily worth the price in my opinion, aswell as a treat for yourself I think the candles from Kiss Air would make for such great gifts too, as I think the designs on these jars are lovely. I love the text they use on their Candles, and I really like the contrast of the colours against their signature black bow too, especially the pink.. very pretty indeed.

I hope you enjoyed hearing my thoughts about the new summer scents from Kiss Air candles, I am loving all three of these candles and I am so excited to keep on using them, especially the Faraway Shores scent! Let me know what new scent you like the sound of the most?

  1. Ooh Faraway Shores sounds amazing! I'm always up for anything that smells coconutty even though I'm a bit iffy on the actual taste of coconut.
