Happy Mail Club: Beautiful botanicals July box

If you're a regular reader of my blog you'll know I'm a huge fan of subscription boxes whether that be beauty, candles or stationary. The Happy Mail Club are a recently launched company and I'm so excited to share my thoughts on their new July Beautiful Botanicals box with you in today's post!

Happy mail club boxes feature a selection of greeting cards, gift wrap and stationary bits which are sourced from Indie designers throughout the UK, so their boxes are perfect if you're looking to support lots of small businesses in one place. I'm a huge stationary geek, and love planning and scrapbooking so I was very excited to try out this box for myself!

Their botanical box is a one off box which is perfect if you're looking to gift someone a box or if you're looking to buy a one of monthly box for yourself without having to commit to a subscription. Either way, I really like that you don't have to commit as I think that really puts me off alot of the time with alot of monthly boxes.

The box contains a mix of cards, stationary bits, gift wrap and even tea! So there's a great range of goodies in Julys box and I'm excited to share a bit more about them all with you..

First up we are getting a 'Crazy plant lady' card from Shop Rose and Willow, and I absolutely love this card. I think the designs and colours are super pretty, and it actually feels of a very good quality too. I also like that the card is blank inside, meaning you could send this one for multiple occasions and not just for birthdays! I actually know quite a few people who are obsessed with their plants so I'm sure this one will come in handy this year for sure.

I also think if you would like this one for yourself you could easily turn the card into a print, and get it framed as this is definitely the perfect design for a print with summer now here!

Next up we are getting two stationary bits, a roll of lime green washi tape and a wooden style pencil.. and I mean who doesn't love their stationary? I don't actually use pencils alot myself, but you can never have too many stocked up so I'm sure this one will come in handy some day.

The Washi tape is actually one of my favourite items in the box, I love using things like this for scrapbooking or photo albums and also sometimes in my planners too.. so it's definitely a handy thing to have. I also love the colour of this one, I think the bright lime is perfect with summer here and would definitely be ideal for scrapbooking summer holiday photos this year!

Next up we are getting another card, but this one is a specific birthday card.. and you can never have too many of these stocked up, so I was very happy to see this one included in their July box.

This card is designed by Stephanie Breeze who is a UK illustrator and I think her design is gorgeous, I love the colours she's used and the little space themed details too, which aren't too obvious at a first glance. This card is actually made with sustainably sourced card with vegetable based eco friendly inks, which I think is amazing for our environment and is something I think alot of bigger brands should start doing!

Next in the box is something I was very excited about, and it's some gift wrap from Sass and Belle. I absolutely love this brand so I was so happy to see something from them in the box! Sass and Belle are a brand that is pretty similar to Cath Kidston in my opinion, with the similar floral vibes.. so if you're a fan of Cath Kidston I'm sure you'll love this gift wrap too.

This will definitely come in handy for gift wrapping this year, I love the pink and blue design.. I think this one would also be perfect for so many occasions too, whether it be for a birthday, a get well soon gift or a even a baby shower as this one has both pink and blue! Perfect if you're heading to a baby shower where the gender has yet to be revealed. So, I think this was definitely another great addition to the box, as you can never have too much wrapping paper!

Next up is a sachet of Rose Lemonade tea from Taylor's of Harrogate, this was my first time trying the brand but I absolutely loved this tea! It's the perfect summer tea with the floral infusion of rose petals and citrus, and I'm a big fan. It's such a refreshing drink too, so I'll definitely have to keep my eye out for a full size box of these next time I'm shopping.

Also how pretty is the sachet? If you've been following me for a while you'll know I'm absolutely pink obsessed.. so this tea was definitely made for me, haha! I think this was such a nice addition to the box, I love it when subscription boxes include edible goodies in their boxes, or drinkable in this case!

Lastly, and my favourite item in the box is this gorgeous 'No rain, No Flowers' print from Shop Rose and Willow. This is one of my all time favourite quotes, and is one I truly believe in! I think the design is gorgeous, and is something I'll definitely be getting framed for my own room. Rose and Willow seem to do some gorgeous designs judging from this box alone, so I'm excited to check out their shop and see what other designs they have available!

My only complaint is that the paper feels quite thin with this one, but apart from that I really do love this print. I think it's such a delicate and pretty design, so I am very excited to get it put out on display in my room.

The box costs £12, which seems to be around the standard price for alot of subscription boxes these days. What I think is special about this one is that you get to support and try out products from lots of different small businesses around the UK, for a very fair price! I also think this box would make the perfect gift for a stationary lover or someone who loves crafting, as I think some of the designs in this box are lovely.

Their Beautiful Botanicals box is going to be their July themed box, so if you are interested in buying one for yourself or a friend or family member make sure to get your order in by the end of july!

I hope you enjoyed seeing what's inside the Beautiful Botanicals box, I think this is such a special monthly box and I'm so excited to see what the company bring out next for their August box as I'm such a fan of the July box! Let me know what you think of the first box from the Happy Mail Club below, and I would also love to hear what your favourite type of monthly boxes are?

* This post contains a PR sample, however as always all opinions are my own.

  3. I'm a huge stationery fan so this box looks perfect for me. The birthday card and the print are my favourites, although I love the designs on the crazy plant lady card too - so hard to choose! I love that you don't have to commit to this too, I'll definitely be picking this up if I have some spare cash!
