New in: Skincare

Today on the blog I'm going to be sharing some new in skincare pieces, from brands such as The Body Shop, L'occitane and Eyeko. I am skincare obsessed at the moment and so excited about all the new products that are being released.. so I thought I'd put together a list of some skincare newbies that have caught my eye recently!

1.

First up are some of the new face mists from The Body Shop, they've actually released five new mists which I am so desperate to try..

• Mandarin energizing mist
• Coco calming mist
• Mint mattifying mist
• Rose dewy glow mist
• Strawberry soothing mist

I have tried a few face mists from The Body Shop already and really like them, but I think the Mandarin energizing one would be perfect with the summer months approaching! I also love the sound of the Rose dewy glow mist too which I think will be perfect in the warmer weather, so I am definitely adding both of those to my own wishlist. I think face mists are such quick and easy skincare pieces, perfect for on the go. All of the new mists retail for £6.00 at the moment, which isn't too bad at all especially for The Body Shop!

2.

Another really interesting new release is the new 'SnapMASK' stick face mask from Yes to, I have never even heard of a stick face mask until I saw this one so it definitely intrigues me! This one is their grapefruit vitamin C glow boosting stick, which sounds perfect for the summer months. The mask aims to diminish dull and uneven skin on the go, and apparently gets to work in just 5 minutes! I always hear amazing things about Yes to so I would be really intrigued to give this one a go! It's priced at £12 at the moment and is exclusive to Beauty Bay.

3.

New to the UK this month are the brand Sand and Sky who are a popular Australian skincare brand, and their new pink clay exfoliating treatment sounds amazing! It's a triple-action exfoliating mask, that's enriched with antioxidants and AHA rich fruit extracts, which aim to effectively remove toxins, pollution and impurities from deep within the skin to give a clearer, brighter and healthier complexion.. which sounds amazing right?! It's £34.50 so it's definitely a pricey one, but the reviews all seem to be amazing so far.

4.

Also new from the brand Yes to is their new Tomatoes detoxifying charcoal 2 in 1 scrub and cleanser stick, and just like the mask I'm so desperate to try this one out! It aims to remove impurities and leave the skin visibly clearer and healthier, so this one sounds perfect for giving the skin a good detox! This one is again exclusive to Beauty Bay but is a little cheaper than the first stick and retails for £10, so not too bad at all!

5.

Also new to The Body Shop are their new Body Yogurts, which I love the sound of! These can be applied straight to damp skin after showering and apparently absorb into the skin in just 15 seconds, so these would definitely be perfect if you're in a rush or are just looking for a less time consuming way to moisturise. Each of the body yogurts are enriched with community trade almond milk from Spain, so I'm sure these would feel super moisturising on the skin! They are available in quite a big range of scents so far and cost £8.50, so not to pricey at all for a moisturiser!

6.

New from Eyeko is their eye boost serum, which is a vibrating massage tool and eye serum in one.. which sounds really intriguing! The product is formulated with caffeine, vitamin b and hyalurolic acid, and aims to hydrate and revive the eye area, which sounds like something I definitely need right now! It also claims to be the perfect tool for reducing puffiness, dark circles and the appearance of fine lines. It's on sale for £40 at the moment, so it's definitely a pricier piece of skincare!

7.

New in from L'Occitane is their Almond delightful body balm, this brand are one of my favourites for skincare so I'm desperate to try out this new release. It's formulated with a blend of almond butter and almond oil from Provence, and aims to leave the skin feeling nourished, more subtle and incredibly soft.. I mean who doesn't want that in a skincare product? It's £26, so it's obviously not the cheapest product in the world but I'm sure knowing L'Occitane it will be worth every penny!

8.

A new face mask on the block is the 100% Camellia brightening mask from Starskin, I've actually tried quite a few masks from this brand now and they've all been amazing and have definitely felt like more of a luxury mask! This one is a two-step face mask pack that aims to help nourish and brighten dull, dry skin.

The mask is packed with antioxidants and vitamins, and contains cold-pressed Camellia japonica seed oil and a natural, silky-soft pink camellia sheet mask.. which aim to leave the skin with a healthy radiant glow! It's priced at £9 at the moment, so it's definitely on the pricier side for a single sheet mask but I would definitely be intrigued to try this one out as I do love the face masks from Starskin.

I hope you enjoyed reading about some of the latest skincare releases, there seems to be so much new skincare at the moment that it's impossible to keep up but these few bits have definitely caught my eye especially the new releases from The Body Shop! Let me know if you've been trying out any new skincare at the moment, and your thoughts on them?

  1. I had a Sand & Sky mask sample in a Birchbox last year and it was A-MAY-ZING. One of the best masks I've ever tried, my skin was so clear after using it. It's pricey but probably worth it. And I'm a huge L'Occitane Almond range fan so that body balm is on my wishlist too! x
