New in: Beauty

Today on the blog I'm going to be sharing some new in beauty releases, this one is mainly going to be a mixture of eyeshadow palettes, highlighters and an exciting new mascara! There seems to be so many new releases at the moment that I'm struggling to keep up, but I'm excited to share a few that have caught my eye with you in today's post!

1.

First up is a new eyeshadow palette and it's from Laura Lee, it's her new 'Nudie Patootie' palette and I think the shades in this one look gorgeous! It includes a mix of matte, shimmer and foil finishes so this would definitely be perfect for both day and night time looks. It costs £38 at the moment, so it's very similar to the Urban Decay naked palette pricing, and even though it is pricey I think you definitely get a great range of shades for the price. Apart from the mustard yellow shade these are for sure my kind of shades, so this one is going straight onto my own beauty wishlist!

2.

Next up is another beautiful looking palette and it's the Heartbreaker Pro eyeshadow palette from Rincon Cosmetics. I've actually never heard of this brand before but the reviews seem to be going down really well so far, with lots of people talking about how buttery and pigmented the shades are. The palette includes a mix of matte, satin, shimmer and metallic shades so just like the Laura Lee palette I would imagine this one would be perfect for both natural and more glam makeup looks.

This one costs £30 at the moment, which is still on the pricier high end side but is alot cheaper than alot of new eyeshadow palettes out at the moment. So, I would definitely be intrigued to try this one as I think the range of shades in the palette look very pretty indeed!

3.

Yes, another palette.. Sorry! But this time it's at a drugstore price. Makeup Revolution have released four new pro supreme palettes: 'Captivate', 'Intoxicate', 'Allure' and 'Bewitch', which all include a mix of both matte and shimmer shades. Most of the new palettes don't really appeal to me but I think the Intoxicate palette looks gorgeous.. I love the look of the colours in this one with it's mix of pinks, golds and browns. The new palettes are super afforable too at just £6, so I'm sure I'll be definitely picking up one of these for myself soon!

4.

Next up are another few new releases from Makeup revolution and they are the new Revolution Pro supreme highlighter palettes. There are three at the moment which are: 'Metals', 'Gold' and 'Ice'.. The ice palette doesn't really seem to appeal to me as the shades look a little too cool toned but I think the shades in the other two palettes look gorgeous, especially the shades in the 'Metals' palette! I really love the highlighters from Makeup Revolution, all the formulas I've tried so far have been crazy pigmented and really long-lasting too.. so I would be very intrigued to try one of these, and for just £6 I think they are a bargain too!

5.

Next up is a new release from Glossier and it's their new Lash slick mascara! They've been working on this product for over a year, and 248 formulations later they've apparently found the perfect formula! I'm so intrigued to try this one, so I'll definitely be adding it to my own beauty wish list.. the mascara has a Japanese fibre technology which means one and two millimeter-long curved fibers hook onto lashes whilst applying the mascara, which sounds really interesting! The mascara is priced at £14 at the moment, so not too bad for Glossier at all.

6.

Also new is the 'Doll light duo' from Doll beauty, which contains two pressed powder highlighters. Firstly how pretty is the packaging, this is definitely my kind of packaging and I love how the highlighters have hearts embossed into them, a very cute touch! The duo costs £25 so not too expensive but not very afforable either just for two shades, I do love that the palette contains a mirror however which means this one would be perfect for travelling! The set contains two shades:

Shine Bright – A golden highlighter
• Like A Diamond – A pale pink highlighter

I think both shades do look really pretty, especially the pale pink shade, which I would imagine would be perfect for us pale skin girls too!

7.

The latest release from Becca is their new Royal glow pressed highlighter, which is exclusive to John Lewis. I think this shade looks absolutely beautiful, it's a warm golden honey shade infused with pink pearl so I would imagine this one would look amazing on darker and tanned skin tones. This release is inspired by the mystique and beauty of the United Kingdom’s Crown Jewels and I think this is definitely going to be a very popular release especially with the Royal wedding approaching in a few weeks, and I'm hearing amazing reviews already!

8.

Lastly for this post are the new hydro liquid highlight drops from LA splash, the formula of these sounds really interesting and supposedly applies like a gel and dries down to a powder, so I would definitely be intrigued to try out one of these especially the champagne colour, which looks gorgeous! There are 6 different shades at the moment: A champagne shade, a pearlescent pink, a bronze, a gold, a pearlescent lilac and also a baby pink.. so there's definitely a shade to suit every skin tone here. They are on sale for £10 at the moment, which is pretty much a drugstore price.. so not too bad at all!

I hope you enjoyed hearing about some of the new beauty products that have been released recently, there's so much on my wishlist at the moment.. but I think the new Glossier Mascara definitely needs to be my next beauty purchase! Let me know in the comments what new releases you've been lusting over recently?

  1. I love the look of the Laura Lee palette - all colours that I would DEFINITELY use! The Make Up Revolution highlight palettes are lovely too but I’m not big on highlight - or confident enough to really know what I’m doing with it haha! Great post, as always!

  2. There are some beautiful powders in here, I agree, that Becca one is going to fly off the shelves, haha. I think I like the look of the hydro liquid highlight drops best - a gel that dries down to a powder sounds really cool, and there's less chance of a palette breaking too. Lovely round up! x
