Juicy Couture: Viva La Juicy Soirée

Juicy Coutures latest edition to their perfume range is their new Viva La Juicy Soirèe fragrance, and isn't it beautiful? It's a gorgeous bright fruity fragrance that I've fallen in love with over the past month or two, so I'm very excited to share my thoughts on it with you in today's post!

Firstly let's start with the packaging, isn't it pretty? It's definitely the kind of perfume to have out on display on your dressing table! I think the bottle is just gorgeous and you can instantly tell it's a Juicy Couture fragrance with the gemstone cap, pink bow and regal gold detailing. I am absolutely pink obsessed so I obviously adore the colours, I think the pink and magenta paint splatter effect adds a really fun vibe to bottle too.

I know the Juicy Couture packaging isn't for everyone as it's a little too over the top and girly for some, but I do really love this one and I'm sure if you're as pink obsessed as me you will too. I'm sure this one would make a great gift for someone who's a little more girly too, as the bottle definitely looks very special in my opinion. I also really like the design on the box the fragrance comes in too, it has a really fun holographic effect that looks gorgeous in the light!

"The optimistic and playful spirit of the Viva girl is the inspiration for Viva La Juicy Soirée. She has an undeniable charm, a carefree attitude, and the ability to captivate those around her. The moment she arrives at any soirée, she lights up the room and the party begins."

The fragrance really is a dream with it's lovely bright and lively fruity scent, it's definitely a fun fragrance.. perfect with the summer months and warmer weather quickly approaching us! If you like fun fruity fragrances like me then I think you're going to love this one..

Top notes:
Pink kiwi, sparkling mandarin and cassis leaves.

Middle notes:
Indian sambac, Jasmine petals de grasse and waterlily.

Base notes:
Amber, musk and soft woods.

For me the fruity notes come across as the strongest, especially the sparkling mandarin which adds a gorgeous pop of freshness to the overall scent. The hints of pink kiwi come across really well too, and add a lovely citrus feel to the scent without being overly sweet like.

The floral scents come across as more of a background scent to me, but are still noticeable.. where as I don't think the musk comes across too heavily at all, which I was pleased about as I much prefer a bright fruity fragrance for the summer months instead! I wouldn't say the amber or woody notes come across well in the scent either and seem to get lost amongst the fruity and floral notes which really doesn't bother me personally but if you prefer a woody and muskier scent then this probably won't be the best fragrance for you.

The scent is quite sweet, but it's not overly sweet and still comes across as a fresh scent. I would say this dries down to a light to medium scent.. perfect if you're not into heavy musky fragrances! The scent is incredibly long wearing however, this is actually the first fragrance from Juicy Couture I've owned and I'm so impressed with how well lasting it is. It lingers well on the skin pretty much all day, so I have no complaints on that aspect of the perfume at all either.

Overall, I really do think the scent is gorgeous! I have been reaching for this fragrance so much lately, and it's easily become one of my favourites so I'm very excited to keep on using it! Even though I think a few of the scents get lost amongst the others the brand have really created such a gorgeous blend, and if you haven't tried it yourself then I'm sure you're going to like it too, especially if you love your fruity fragrances.. as it definitely gets a big thumbs up from me.

A 30ml bottle retails for around £39 and the 100ml bottles are currently retailing for around £70. I actually have the 30ml bottle myself and I think it's a pretty decent size as it's lasting me really well so far, so I don't think £39 is a bad price at all.. especially considering the quality and how well the scent lingers on the skin too.

Obviously £70 for a perfume if you're wanting the 100ml size is pretty expensive, and is definitely more of a high end price but if you're looking to treat yourself or a loved one then I highly recommend giving this one a try in store and taking away a sample as it's the perfect summer fragrance!

I hope enjoyed hearing my thoughts on the new Viva La Juicy Soirée perfume, as you can tell already I really do love this one.. and it's definitely the perfect fragrance with summer approaching! Let me know in the comments if you've tried the perfume yet, and your thoughts?
