I Heart Revolution: Multi liner pen

One of the newest releases from I Heart Revolution are their new multi liner pens, they have released three new retractable pens and in today's post I'm going to be talking about their original multi liner pen. You all know by now how much I like Makeup Revolution as a whole, so I'm very excited to share my thoughts on one of their latest releases with you!

The pen features four different liners, three eyeliner pens and also a lip liner pen too. The pen is surprisingly really easy to use you just click to choose your colour, then twist to push up more of the product. I think it's such a clever and quirky idea, and it's definitely giving me all of the 90's vibes as I used to be obsessed with these pens when I was in school!

It's fairly chunky to hold but I think that helps to give a really good precision when it comes too applying the product, it's not heavy whatsoever though surprisingly and is definitely more of a lightweight product! I think these are going to be perfect for on the go or for when travelling, I mean why take one liner when you can take four?

Firstly let's start with the eyeliner shades, you get three in the pen: a black, a darkish brown and also a light nude shade. All of the shades are so creamy formula wise, and really seem to glide onto the eyes effortlessly. I've been getting so much use out of them recently especially the brown shade, it's perfect if you're looking to create a more natural eyeliner look. I've also been using the lightest nude shade to line my waterline, and it's perfect for brightening up the eyes.. it really helps to make the eyes look wider and more awake, which is perfect if you're normally half asleep most of the time like me, haha!

The only downside is that they are more of a creamy pencil, and are not the thinnest so it would be pretty hard to try and attempt any sort of winged liner with these. However if you prefer a more natural liner look like myself then I think you will really like these, as the creamy formula is really easy to work with.. even if you are an eyeliner novice like me!

Even though I do love the eyeliners my favourite has to be the lip liner, it's such a gorgeous warm toned nude shade which is perfect for everyday wear, and it seems to match so many of my current lipsticks well too, which is a bonus! I am honestly so impressed with the formula of this one, the shade applies so soft and smoothly to the lips.. I have had no problems with applying this shade whatsoever! The formula feels creamy to start with then once on the lips dries down to a more demi-matte finish.. which I think really helps to keep the lip liner on the lips for longer.

One thing to also mention though is that all of these shades do seem to be going down quite quickly compared to a harder eyeliner or lip pencil as these are super creamy, but for such a cheap price I definitely wouldn't mind repurchasing another one when these shades run out.

I've found the eyeliners to be surprisingly well long lasting, I've found the black shade lasts me around seven to eight hours before starting to fade slightly, which I dont think is too bad for the price. However, the star is definitely the brown shade, it just doesn't seem to budge at all and will easily last you all day which I really wasn't expecting for such a cheap price, so I was definitely impressed there.

The only eyeliner shade I found to be less long lasting was the nude shade, however I have only tested this one out in my waterline and I do have pretty sensitive eyes.. so do bare that in mind! It does last me between three to six hours depending on the day, but I would imagine it would be a lot more longwearing if you applied this to the lids like a regular liner, I just prefer to use a darker shade there myself as this one is pretty pale.

The lip liner lasts me around a good six to eight hours, which for a drugstore brand I don't think is too bad at all. For such a creamy formula I wasn't expecting this one to be so long lasting, but it seems to keep hold on the lips really well.. I am definitely wanting to try more lip liners from Makeup Revolution now!

The multi liner pens retail for £5, and I think that's a pretty good deal indeed. Even though some of the liners are a little thicker than I would usually go for they are so easy to apply with the creamy formula, and I'm very excited to keep on using them.

I think four different liners for £5 is a bargain, especially considering you won't be able to get one liner from alot of brands for that price! I hadn't actually tried any of the eye liners from Makeup Revolution until these so I really didn't know what to expect but I was definitely pleasently surprised when I got to try these.. especially with the brown shade so I 100% think this one is worth the price!

I hope you enjoyed hearing my thoughts on one of the newest releases from I Heart Revolution, I think their new multi liners are definitely going to be a popular release! Let me know if you've tried any of them yet, and your thoughts?
