3 current beauty favourites

Today on the blog I'm going to share some of my current beauty favourites, I feel like I've discovered so many new beauty treasures recently but I've tried to narrow them down to just three in this post. These three favourites are products I've been reaching for constantly over the past month, so I hope you enjoy hearing my thoughts on them!

First up is the Pixi x Weylie 'Lets talk eyes' palette. I absolutely adore everything about this palette, from the shade range to the formula and I also love that it's the perfect travel size palette too, which is definitely ideal with holiday season approaching us. There's a great mix of shades, perfect for taking a look from day to night, with the pretty shimmers and darker shades.

Pigmentation wise all of the shades are really high in pigment, even the lightest shimmer shades too which I find sometimes lack in pigment in a lot of my other palettes. Each shade applies to the eyes like a dream and they are so easy to blend too, even the darkest shades.. I normally find most dark shades take quite abit longer to blend, but this one blends out so quickly with it's creamy formula!

One of the best things about this palette is how longwearing the shades are, these eyeshadows really do not budge once they are on the eyes. I normally find the lightest shimmer shades from most palettes I already have fade away pretty quickly on the eyes.. but not with this one, so I was very impressed about that aspect of the palette too! The only slight downside to this palette for me is that the shade 'Gurl!' has the tiniest bit of fall out, however apart from that I really can't fault this palette at all and I'm very excited to keep using it!

The next thing I've been loving recently is actually another product from Pixi, and it's their 'Cake' lip icing in collaboration with Chloe Morello. The shade is a gorgeous golden colour, which has very fine flecks of peach, pink and light golden glitters inside too..

The formula to me feels very similar to a lip gloss consistency but this one isn't sticky on the lips at all. I'm wearing this one in the picture below and I think it adds such a pretty, healthy shimmery glow to the lips, it actually has a 3-dimensional glimmer which really does look gorgeous when the lips catch the light! I have become obsessed with wearing lip toppers and glosses lately, as I think they add such a healthy finish to any makeup look, I definitely think the glossy look has been coming back on trend lately as I'm seeing more and more brands focus on bringing them out, which I love.

This one feels extremely comfortable on the lips, the glitter inside is so fine that you can't feel it on the lips at all, the formula actually contains rose hip and marula oil to help keep the lips hydrated and well nourished which you can definitely notice. If you love lip glosses and toppers, then I couldn't recommend this one enough as the formula and finish really is gorgeous!

My last favourite is actually another lip product, and it's the sugar tulip lip treatment from Fresh Beauty! This one adds a gorgeous sheer hot pink tint to the lips, it's perfect for those days when you're not wanting to wear a full coverage lipstick but still want to add a pop of colour to the lips.

Aswell as providing a pretty colour, the balm includes a blend of nourishing oils which includes Meadowfoam and black current seed oils, which both aim to keep the lips moisturised and hydrated. Aswell as that the lip balm also contains antioxidants to help keep the lips protected throughout the day, I have loved trying this out for myself.. it definitely adds a deep hydration to the lips, without being to thick and oily! If you suffer from chapped lips then I'm sure this little beauty would be a lifesaver, as it has been for me!

Oh and lastly the Sugar Tulip scent smells amazing, it's definitely one of those scents that smells good enough to eat with it's sweet sugary citrus scent! At the moment this will cost you £19.50 from most retailers, however it's just £16 at World Duty Free which is a great saving if you're passing through the airport this year, and in my opinion it's worth every single penny.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about some of my current beauty favourites, I have been obsessed with these three products lately, especially the new Pixi 'Lets talk eyes' palette! Let me know what beauty products you've been loving recently?
