March Favourites

It's been so long since I've put together a monthly favourites but this month I've discovered a couple of new favourites so I couldn't resist putting together a post to share them with you. I can't quite believe we are nearly into April already, this year is definitely flying by fast!

The first thing I've been loving this month is a lipstick, and it's the 'Red velvet' intense colour lipstick from Lola makeup who are a new brand to me this month. Firstly, I love the name.. I am absolutely red velvet obsessed! This year I'm actually trying to get into wearing more darker and brighter lip colours, and I've been loving this one lately. It really is one of the prettiest red lipsticks I've tried, and I can't wait to keep on wearing it!

I find the formula of this one really creamy, and overall it just sits really well on the lips. It's also super pigmented too, which means one coat and your good to go with this one. The lipstick is enriched with antioxidants, nourishing plant extracts, Vitamin C, Mango Seed Butter and even Vitamin E, which give the lipstick such a lovely buttery hydrating formula, so there's definitely no need to worry about this lipstick leaving your lips feeling dry! Even though this one is super creamy it does still have a semi matte finish, which I think really helps to make the formula well long lasting too.

I definitely want to try out some more shades from the brand after trying this one, they seem to have a really good range of shades on their website, including some gorgeous nude colours!

Another favourite I've discovered this month is the Japanese cherry blossom body butter from Basin fresh, if you follow me over on Instagram then you'll already know I'm obsessed with Basin as a brand and always make sure I stock up whilst I'm in Walt Disney world. I've actually never tried a product from them that I've disliked so far, which is pretty impressive!

I've been using this one everyday recently and I just love it, it's packed full of cocoa butter and has really helped to leave my skin feeling soft and nourished. Aswell as the practicality this scent is absolutely gorgeous, Basin always nail their scents spot on and this sweet fruity scent is no exeption. My all time favourite scent from Basin is their pink sugar scent, but this one definitely comes in at a very close second!

Next up are probably one of my favourite things to discover this month and they are the Tre pink wireless earphones from Sudio Sweden. Aren't they gorgeous?! As someone who is pink obsessed I am absolutely in love with the design of these aswell as the practicality!

I've actually never tried wireless earphones before so these make such a nice change, compared to having my earphones plugged into my phone or tablet.. Especially when watching movies or YouTube videos, it's so much easier with these beauties and they are super easy to use too, you just connect them to your device via Bluetooth and it really does just take seconds. The company have also very kindly given me a discount code to share with my readers, so if you are wanting to purchase a pair for yourself you can use code 'kateballamy15' for some money off!

Next up is another makeup favourite and it's the Tarte 'Go to glow' palette, and this has definitely become my most reached for contour and highlight palette.

I've been using this on a daily basis and I just love it - I've mainly been using the 'burst' and 'chisel' shades, they compliment each other so well! The 'Burst' highlighter shade is definitely up there with my favourite highlighters I've tried so far and it's perfect for us pale skin girls too! It gives the most gorgeous champagne glow to the skin and I would definitely buy this again in full size when I run out! Both of the highlight shades are actually quite similar looking, but I think the 'gleam' shade is a little more pink toned.

It's definitely become one of my go to products at the moment, I love how the shades are not too overpowering but are still buildable if you want a more intense look. It's also the most perfect travel size too, it's not bulky at all - as it's all so compact, so I will definitely be taking this one away on holiday with me this year!

Next up is a fragrance from The Body Shop, and it's their Japanese cherry blossom, strawberry kiss scent. I already love their original Japanese cherry blossom scent and this one has that same gorgeous scent but with new refreshingly juicy notes of strawberries, pink peony and amber - and it honestly smells so good! If you like fruity scents then you will LOVE this one.

I've been reaching for this so much lately, it's definitely the perfect fragrance to use with spring now here. Aswell as the scent, how cute is the packaging? I love it and it looks lovely out on display on my dressing table too. This one is just £15 at the moment, which I think it pretty afforable too for a fragrance.. especially considering the quality!

You all know I'm candle obsessed by now and my favourite for this month has been the Sun Kissed Raspberry scent from Kiss Air Candles. I really have fallen in love with the companies products over the past few months, I've tried quite alot of their candle scents now and have still been yet to come across one I haven't liked - which I think is pretty impressive! The candle has a soft and fruity fragrance of raspberries slowly ripening in the sunshine, and it honestly smells gorgeous, it's definitely the perfect scent to burn with spring finally here!

Aswell as the actual scent I really do love the packaging of this one, I really like the design and style of their jar candles with the black signature bow and bright colours. It's definitely been the perfect edition on display in my bedroom, and I'm very excited to keep burning this one!

Next up are two hair products that I've been trying out over the past month or so from the brand Shea Moisture. I've been trying out their 100% coconut oil daily hydration conditioner and shampoo from their hydration range. I've actually never tried anything from the brand before until now but I have absolutely loved trying out these two products!

I have long fine hair myself, and I find the ends tend to get quite damaged and tangled easily.. this range definitely seems to suit my hair type, and has really helped to keep the ends of my hair looking in a good condition. If you like a hydrating shampoo and conditioner then you will love these two products, as they really do leave your hair feeling packed full of moisture.. so it's perfect for using if you have dry ends to your hair, like me. I am SO happy I've discovered the brand this month and I can't wait to keep on using both of these products.

Besides the benefits for the hair, this stuff smells incredible and always leaves my hair smelling fresh with that gorgeous tropical coconut scent. These are both available to buy in Superdrug, Boots and Feel Unique and I think I'll definitely be rebuying these for myself when these two run out.. they also have a few other ranges available too which are suited for different hair types if you're interested in trying out the brand for yourself. They both retail for £10.99 each, which yes is a little bit pricey? Especially compared to the products I usually buy for my hair, but I really do think you get your money's worth with them both.

My last favourite for this month is probably one of my favourite bath products to discover in a long while and it's the unicorn dreams whipped soap from Lolly and Moo. Lolly and Moo are a UK small business, which specialise in candles, wax melts and of course lots of fun bath products. I've seen lots of people talk about the company recently, so I was very excited to try out a couple of products for myself..

The scent of this soap is gorgeous, it smells exactly like the popular starburst sweets with its lovely fruity scent.. this one really does smell good enough to eat and isn't it just one of the prettiest soaps you've ever seen?! It's definitely one of the most photogenic soaps I've owned, and it looks even prettier in person too.

Most importantly though this one really does leave your skin feeling so soft, it's packed with apricot kernel oil which is known for its moisturising benefits. I've definitely loved trying this one, and will be very sad when it runs out!

I hope you enjoyed reading about what products I've been loving this month! Let me know in the comments if you've discovered any new favourites too?
