Three eyeshadow favourites from Essence cosmetics

If you follow me over on Instagram then you'll know that Essence are a brand that I have been loving over the past few years, they have such an amazing range of products at the best prices - and I mean the best, it's ridiculous how cheap some of their products are selling for considering the quality! They have easily become one of my favourite drugstore brands over the past year - so I'm very excited to share with you some of my favourite eyeshadow products from them!

First up is one of their moonlight cream eyeshadows, and this one is in the shade 'Cosmic' which is a gorgeous brown colour with a hint of copper . It's such a beautiful colour on, and has the prettiest purple irredessient glow when the light catches it too, I've tried out these in a few shades but cosmic has definitely become my firm favourite!

I love the formula of these eyeshadows, the texture of the shadows in the pot is really bizarre they all have such a bouncy and creamy texture, they seem to be inbetween both a wet and dry conistensy - nothing like I've tried before but they are so easy to apply and really do last all day too which makes me favour these over a powder shadow! They also blend so well and quickly, perfect to use if your in a rush but still want to add a pop of colour to your eyes. Essence have this formula in a range of different shades, and for just £3 I think it's a bargain as you also get a great amount of product too for the price, which is always a bonus!

Now the next product is something I've been wearing so much ever since I've received it and it's one of their metal shock eyeshadows in the shade '1 second to mars' and it's the most gorgeous peachy coppery colour! I've tried this formula in a few shades and they have all been so pigmented, but you can also blend them out to create a more sheerer look if that's what you prefer. The fluffy applicator also works really well too, and helps to apply the product nice and evenly!

One of the main things I love about it is that once its dried down it doesn't budge at all, it's super long-lasting and doesn't loose it's intensity throughout the day like most eyeshadows. The only downside is that they do dry down very fast so you do have to work quickly, but apart from that I am obsessed with the formula and colour - and for just £3.50 this will definitely be something I'll repurchase again and again.

The last product in this post is the 'All about Roses' palette, and firstly let's just say this palette is only £4, for a whole eight shades which is amazing! I am an eyeshadow palette hoarder but I always find myself coming back to this one, I think I just love the range of shades and the way they work with my skin tone and compliment each other so well. The palette has a mix of both mattes and shimmers, which are all highly pigmented - the two lighter shades a little less but they are definitely both easily buildable. I was genuinely surprised to see just how pigmented and easy to blend they are for such a cheap price!

My only complaint is that the colours do loose their intensity throughout a long day, but for the price I did kind of expect that and I'm sure it's nothing a good setting spray wouldn't solve! The palette looked quite colourful to me when I first opened it up in person, but the shades actually go on pretty neutral, which is perfect for an everyday look and perfect for those who want to brighten up their makeup look without going to colourful!

I hope you enjoyed this post, I still can't get over the massive range of products essence have and I can't wait to try out more from them this year, so I will definitely be including them over on my blog alot more over the next year. Let me know if you have any suggestions for posts and also if you have any favourites from Essence because I'm always on the look out to discover more products from them!
