DANGLEFOOT NAIL POLISH REVIEW

In today's post I'll be talking about my thoughts on some nail polishes handmade by the company 'Danglefoot nail polish', I was so excited to try and test these when they arrived as they looked gorgeous in the bottle, especially the pink because if you didn't know by now I am absolutely obsessed with the colour! All polishes are handmade by Hayley, the owner of the company, and each polish is both cruelty free and vegan too which is amazing. I can't wait to share my thoughts on her business and products!

The first shade I got to try was 'Barbies hangover' which has to be one of the best nail polish shade names I've discovered yet! Besides, the name the actual shade is a gorgeous bright pink colour which also has a golden shimmer when it hits the light, which really does look pretty and makes the shade colour so much more interesting than a regular pink polish! If you follow me over on Instagram you'll know I am obsessed with the colour pink, so this colour was absolutely perfect for me, I really don't have a preference with nail polish shades but if it's pink then I'm definitely bound to like it alot - which I do!

I found the actual formula of the polish to be really good too, with this particular shade I only needed one coat as it's so pigmented - which saved alot of hastle doing a second coat. The polish really does apply so evenly and smoothly too which I was impressed with to see, I can't think of any complaints for this one at all and I can definitely say they are not just pretty shades but fantastic formulas too!

The second shade I got to try out is called 'All dolled up' which is a stunning Emerald green colour, I don't think I've ever painted my nails green until I tried this polish but I think it's just that bit dark enough that it works for me, if it was any lighter or brighter then it wouldn't have been for me.. but I'm definitely getting Wicked vibes from this shade and I love it, it has such a shiny finish too even without a top coat. With the finish I also found both shades to be well long-lasting for the price too, they definitely got a good four to five days use before small chips started to appear.

This one is packed with fine glitters and sparkle which look so pretty when the light hits it, I think if I had to choose I actually prefer the finish of this one myself compared to the pink. The only downside is that it did need two coats on the nails unlike the pink to reach its full colour, but with that being said both shades seemed to dry down quite quickly.

I would imagine this shade would look gorgeous as a top coat over a matte green or black too or even another colour, as well as wearing it alone! One big thing I love about this polish is that finish is so smooth for a glitter polish, most I've tried have all had quite a harsh finish which is so hard to remove, so I was surprisingly impressed with the finish of this one.

Prices on the website vary from £3.50 to £7.35 depending on the finish, which ranges between the typical price of nail polish these days, and to factor in the fact that these are all handmade by one small business owner is amazing - so yes, I would definitely say they are worth the price! You also get quite a good sized amount of product in the bottle too, if I was too compare them to another brand for reference I would say these bottles are just a little bigger than the polishes from Barry M - and for the price I can't complain about the size at all!

I hope you enjoyed this post, I always go on about how important it is to support small businesses rather than just the mainstream brands and I think I've found an amazing one here, I can't wait to see what the brand brings out next as they are always bringing out new exciting shade ranges and finishes! Let me know in the comments what you think of the shades, and if you've tried the brand already?
