Amy's ways festive pamper routine

There is no better morning than Christmas Day. Anything goes and the treats start early-from Bucks Fizz to luxury moisturisers. I am loving the Neutrogena Hydro-boost, my skin feels instantly awakened after I pop this on. Perfect for little sleep the night before!

I am not always at my own home on Christmas morning as I have such a large family, one of my favourite memories has to be Christmas in sunny Majorca. Thanks to Tewkesbury Park Hotel (a little closer to home) for letting us curl up in one of their finest sweets for these photos for a little while! Travelling around at Christmas time means that the pamper treats have to be perfect and in minimal amount as I don’t like to carry a ton!

I always begin my pamper morning jumping out of bed in my comfy pjs, these super soft ones are from New Look. I then open my stocking on my mum’s bed and manage to accumulate a few skin treats to perk me up. I normally haven’t slept very much the night before as I am the biggest child ever! I get ever so excited for Christmas day, the ambience of everyone joyfully open their pressies around the tree is incomparable.

Firstly I run myself a long hot bath. My top bath bombs at the moment are from Lush (of course), they are the Butter Bear bath bomb and the Magic of Christmas bubble bar. My skin feels silky smooth and the bath looks a brilliant colour too! It is so important to look after your skin in the colder months, mine turns ever so dry in Winter. Hotel Chocolat has introduced a delectable new range and this moisturiser sinks right in. I've done a full review of it here ( Link) I like to take care of my hands too after a long soak in the bath and (slighly lavishly) apply this Love and Light hand cream from Lush after the Bramley hand wash has cleansed my skin.

I love to then light a couple of candles whilst I'm getting ready for the day too, there are way too many yummy scents this year from Yankee Candle for Christmas. Scents around the room are crucial for me as they set the mood. They are just as important as the skin treats in my eyes, as being relaxed and awakened is the most important thing in my Christmas morning routine.
