4 products I'm loving from blank canvas cosmetics and my everyday eye makeup look

Blank canvas are a brand that are fairly new too me, but I have fallen in love with a few of their products recently so I thought I would share some of my favourite makeup bits from them that I've tried so far on here and also my everyday eye makeup look too!

The company are actually an online makeup store based over in Ireland and their aim is to deliver high quality makeup products and brushes at an affordable price, which is what we all want, right?! I've seen the brand floating around on social media for a while now, especially their gorgeous palettes which keep popping up on my instagram feed so I was very excited to try them out for myself finally!

First up is their contour and concealer palette, if you follow me on Instagram you'll see I am super pale, so pale I could probably blend in with a white wall and I'm not kidding, haha! I find that most palettes like this are way too dark for my skin tone, but this one has some shades that work perfectly for me, they also have lots of darker shades too so there is definitely something that would work for everyone.

This one retails for €20 which is not super cheap but I think its actually quite affordable compared to other brands and for the amount of shades you get too (a whole 10 pans of colour!) , I've seen some brands selling just six shades for over half the price. If I had one criticism it would be to have different palettes for different skin tones, but apart from that I can't complain about the formula of the products at all, each shade is super creamy and so easy to work with especially the concealer shades which are perfect for brightening up under the eyes. I normally prefer powder products myself but this palette is definitely winning me over!

Next up is actually a soap and it's their famous brush cleaning solid soap, which I must say smells incredible and this is honestly a game changer - I absolutely hate the task of cleaning my brushes but this makes it such a quick and easy task. All you need to do is swirl the brush into the soap with some warm water until the brush becomes clean and then make sure all of the soap is rinsed out, lastly leave out to dry overnight and in the morning you'll have fresh clean brushes ready to use.

I couldn't recommend this product enough, there is also a huge amount of product in the tin too so for just €15 you will definitely get your moneys worth, and I'm sure this will last me for a long time too as you hardly need any product to fully clean out a brush either!

Next is actually a brush and it's their F43 brush, which is a multi purpose brush but I've been using this for contouring and bronzing, and I honestly LOVE it! It especially works well with cream products and helps them to blend out flawlessly, it will definitely save you alot of time if you always seem to be in a rush in the mornings, like me!

The brush retails for €15 which is a little pricey for a single brush, but you definitely do get what you pay for with this one, its definitely a higher quality brush compared to some of the cheaper ones available - aswell as the practicality it's gorgeous too, I love the purple metallic finish, very Instagram worthy! If you're not so girly they also have a good range of other colours too choose from too. They also have brush sets available which help to save you money and are definitely worth checking out if your interested in buying more than one.

My last favourite is their master series one eyeshadow palette, it's filled with so many gorgeous nude brown shades and warm tones - perfect to create so many looks. Aswell as the shades, the quality is still their too the shadows are packed with pigment and are super easy to blend too.

The only downside for me is that there is only one shimmer shade in the palette, the rest being a matte finish, I just wish it had a few more shimmer shades to work with but apart from that I have no complaints at all. The shimmer shade included is probably my favourite of the palette and it's gorgeous! Perfect for brightening up an eye look, and it works lovely to highlight the brow bone too. I also love that there are no crazy coloured shades in the palette, meaning that I will get a good use out of every single shade as they are all something I would reach for on an everyday basis.

I thought I would add in a little natural eye makeup look into the post too, so here we go..

Firstly I blended out the shades 'Forza' and 'Brazen' throughout my crease, and then used one of the darker shades 'Downtown' for my outter corners, I used the Blank canvas E34 brush to do this which is perfect for blending out eyeshadow - it's so fluffy and easy to work with and I've been reaching for it alot lately! I then used the shade 'Goddess' and highlighted my brow bone and also packed that all over my lid and inner corners too, I have become obsessed with this shade its the most gorgeous shimmery pearl colour and it's perfect for brightening up your eyes. For this I used the E40 brush as its perfect for packing on shimmer shadows without lots of fallout.

I then concealed my under eyes, with the lightest shade in the contour palette before applying the shade 'Forza' again to my lower lash line. Lastly I added mascara and a little eyeliner and that's the eye look finished, super simple and quick but this is how I would wear my eye makeup on an everyday basis - I like to keep it fuss free and easy too keep it less time consuming!

I hope you enjoyed this post, I am so glad I finally got to try out a few products from Blank Canvas cosmetics, I was definitely pleasently surprised with their makeup and brushes, especially the eyeshadow palette - if you're looking for a new everyday palette then I would definitely recommend having a look at this one, I really can't fault the quality at all and I've been reaching for it over my other palettes alot recently. I will definitely be including more beauty onto my blog in the new year, so if you have any suggestions be sure to let me know in the comments!

That eyeshadow palette looks so pigmented! I'm as pale as you too and really struggle with contour products so I'll definitely be adding that contour palette to my wishlist!

The eye makeup you created looks so pretty and you've got great taste in jumpers (I've got it too haha!)
